Location
Lockridge was originally owned by prominent Western Australian landowner, Edward Hamersley in 1837.
The suburb takes its name from Lockridge House, which was built by his son, Samuel, in 1874. However, it wasn’t until 1969 that residential development took place, with urban renewal occurring in the late 1990s.
