Location
Viveash is a suburb in Perth, Western Australia, in the City of Swan. It was named after Dr Samuel Waterman Viveash, the owner of the land in this area in the 1840s. Viveash arrived in the Swan River Colony in December 1838 and took up land in the Avon Land District. The suburban area of Viveash was developed by the Midland Brick Company (now Boral) which carried out subdivision in 1967 and requested that the area be given the name Viveash in 1968.

Transport
Well served by a bus service and train at Midland Train Station, and the International Airport terminal and Domestic Terminal are only 5 to 10 minutes by car.
